Hello there fine reader,

Thank you first off for reading this and for being interested in my work.

I'm currently in a stage of "wrapping up" as I work to complete the final pieces for a gig I took on with Atlas Games, I'm also wrapping up some college business classes on 3/20, and on top of all that I'm working to finally apply the final pieces to FIFTEEN MINUTES so that book can be released and go out into the hands of all who wish to read it. All of this is exciting, rewarding, and in a small way a bit scary.

As this is a time of wrapping up, it is also an opportunity for growth and starting things new.

Over the last year I've done a lot of thinking about my craft, about my goals, and about where in the end I desire to be. At this time in, March 2014, I was physically unable to type, write, and most importantly I couldn't draw. My right hand had been bitten by a dog and I was starting an undetermined length of healing time, which left me with a great amount of time to think.

I won't go into all my thoughts save for one. Sitting there unable to use my hand I was confronted by the reality of time, and the fickle nature of this life. I was on a roll, making contacts, producing art, I was at a point were everything was looking up and I was about to head off to C2E2 with a near completed graphic novel and I was eager to get feedback and critiques. Then March 5th I was bitten and all my momentum was robbed from me. It left me determined to work hard to heal and to get to a point where nothing can hurt my momentum ever again.

To that end I would like to cut the gap between myself, my work, and those who enjoy it. I'd also like to better position myself to start doing this work fulltime, so that every day, every working moment is dedicated to producing art for you or any other reader to appreciate.

In an effort to accomplish both those goals I joined Patreon. Each new piece of art, new video, everything I do including my podcast will be made available first and in many cases exclusively to my patrons. If you are interested in looking at the full details, the link is below.

UPDATE: 03/28/2014 - I CAN DRAW!!! But only in minimal amounts. I had a follow up visit with my doctor, and he approved a very low amount of drawing, just to see how the muscles react. The wound looks to be healing up well. Gotta keep patient though.

In the mean time I've started gearing up for CON's coming up. Though not drawing yet, it is fun to plan.

March 5th - Drawing hand severely injured due to dog bite.

Haven't drawn since. 

The doctor cleared me to return to my day job, and I am allowed to type, but I am to use my thumb as little as possible.

I'm a bit stir crazy with my need to draw. 

I am not allowed to draw or grip things yet. Next follow up with the Doctor is the 28th.
